Electric power generation, transmission and distribution

This group includes the generation of electric power, transmission from generating facilities to distribution centres and distribution to end users. Trade and storage of electric power are also included.

This group excludes:

• separate production and distribution of steam and heat, see 35.3
• activities of electric power brokers or agents that arrange the sale of electricity via power distribution systems operated by others, see 35.4
